Ingleborough Cave (Clapham, Lancaster)

Mida: 10,5 x 15 cm
Revers: GHAPING GILL CLAPHMAN is situated on Ingleborough,
                North Yorkshire. The boulder strewn floor is 365 feet below
                the moor level and the cave is reputed to be large enough to
                hold York Minster. Fell beck plunges into the cave and flows
                out to daylight through Clapham Beck Cave next to
                Ingleborough Cave.

Revers: THE SKITTLES LOG GALLERY. Lime deposited from
                water dripping from the roof onto ledges that were oncer part
                of the floor of the passage has formed a large number of
                stalagmits resembling skittles.

Revers: THE SHOWERBATH
                Two adjacent stalactites approximately five feet long over
                which water flows constinuosly. The are a particulary
                impressive sight after heavy rain.

              on its surface due do miniature rimstoine pools - ridges of time
              holding back pools with minute crystals of time in them.
